Two skill levels at camp and a Goalie
Academy. Each skill level will have a
specific curriculum catered for that specific
level of skill/experience. We limit to numbers to
allow the best camper-staff ratio possible.
Elite/Advanced Division: Campers who are
looking for the greatest challenge possible. This
level is for players who want to play in college and
want to have a highly competitive experience. Do you
have experience competing at the highest level and
want to gain the knowledge that our expert
instructors can provide you as you seek to be your
best? This is the group you want to be a part of at
the Beach Winter Camp! Limited to 60 campers.
Intermediate Division: Campers who have
experience at the high school level as varsity or
junior varsity players, or who are advanced 7th or
8th graders will benefit from this camp experience.
Learn techniques from our coaching staff, including
college coaches and players, and get ready for your
high school season. Do you want to come to camp,
learn top-level techniques from the best coaches and
improve? This is the group you want to be a part of
at the Beach Winter Camp! Limited to 60
campers.
Goalie Academy: Featuring one of the World’s
top Goal Keeping Instructors, US Lacrosse featured
speaker Adam Norton, our GK Academy includes three
coaches to insure that our goal keepers receive
personalized attention. Limited to just 12
goal keepers.
Learn the latest skills, techniques, and concepts
of the game, as well as strength, speed and footwork
training.
Develop: Coaches from top NCAA programs
headline the teaching staff for the Beach Winter
Camp. JU Lacrosse always brings strong coaches to
camp. All of the staff members are excellent
teachers as well as being helpful in the recruiting
process. Coaches from Loyola, Louisville, Johns
Hopkins, Brown, and Virginia Tech complemented the
four Jacksonville University Coaches at last year’s
winter camp. Expect a similar line-up this winter.
Compete: Skills groups compete in dozens of
small-sided games, competitions, and full-field
scrimmages. Elite players experience the best
competition in the nation. Intermediate players put
their new skills and knowledge to work in a
super-fun, competitive environment. Teams are
coached by rotating staff members so you learn
real-time game adjustments from our amazing staff.
Learn: from the JAX Beach Lax breakout
sessions - key to your development as a player and
your preparation for the 2011 season! While many of
these sessions are optional (waterfall pool time,
beach time, or camp store time are available too),
these sessions are intended to provide even more
value for campers who want to leave no stone
unturned.
Have FUN: You are at the beach. The Camp
hotel is Ocean Front and beautiful. Your family
could enjoy a vacation while you attend camp. It’s a
great experience for all involved and the reviews
from Winter Camps have been tremendous. Why go to
any other winter camp?

“It was her favorite camp ever. She's been
going to summer camps at ____ university & university of
____ since 6th grade and winter camps at both schools since
8th grade. Mindy has a great thing going with that (JU
lacrosse camp). Expect many more kids from our area coming
down in the future...” - Parent of an experienced lacrosse
player who attended JU Lacrosse Camp for the first time
after attending multiple Division I camps elsewhere.
I just wanted to thank you for a great week at camp and for inviting me to see the school! I had a ton of fun during my visit and I hope to come again some time in the near future. The camp was the most intense lacrosse experience I have had and I have had some great ones! Thanks again! Samantha N, Baltimore, MD
I just wanted to email you to say thank you for having me to camp. I had an amazing time! I felt like I really improved my game over the past four days. Ashley D, Annapolis, MD
I'd also like to let you know that the JU camp was AWESOME-even with the Myan temple steps. Compared to the
____ camp it was much more focused on the college coaches. I felt that we had more of their attention individually in the drills. There were many more drills that didn't repeat, and they broke down defense really well. Kudos to Mindy and everyone else! Katie S, Orlando, FL
I thought you might like some feedback on your camp. My daughter, Kelsey B thought it was great. She loved the themed teams and skit night. She has been to three camps this summer and she enjoyed yours the most. Beth B, Nashville, TN
I am sending this email because I just wanted to thank you again for the AMAZING lacrosse camp. I had so much fun meeting everyone and I learned so much. I knew that took you a lot of planning and I wanted to say thanks just one more time. Nikki E, Georgia
